The Common Heritage Foundation has just initiated a fellowship to support Student teachers in Colleges of education who are “interested and committed to make teaching a lifelong career”. The fellowship is currently restricted to students in their last year of College with records of good grades in the first two years. The fellowship will provide modest allowance for upkeep, teaching practice and final project report writing. It also provides a 12-month post graduation career mentoring in a secondary school. Four institutions that will be involved in this first call are FCE Yola, FCE Okene, Adeyemi College of Education and College of Education, Ikerre-Ekiti. The deadline for application is 15 March 2019.
