At the onset of any research, CHF must identify the stakeholders, engage the potential users and negotiate their participation in the evidence generation. CHF typically would request the secondment of a member from the stakeholder community to the research team. The stakeholder participation in all aspects of the research process is a given in all CHF projects. At the end of the research, the findings are presented to the stakeholder to reflect upon and develop a plan for using the results for improving policy and or practice.
